I want to share something with you this week that’s been on my mind for years.
I coach a lot of successful people.
And almost every single one of them comes to me thinking they have a business problem.
They almost never do.
They have a fulfillment problem.
I call it The Fulfillment Gap. It’s the distance between what you’ve built on the outside and how you actually feel on the inside.
You built the business. You hit the numbers. You’re fit. You have the partner. The house. The freedom.
And you still feel like something is missing.
I just recorded a conversation on the Partners Podcast about this. We went deep on the pattern I see over and over again in high performers, and the two skills every entrepreneur needs to actually close the gap.
The first skill is what most people spend 20 years mastering, the science of achievement. Setting a goal, executing, producing a result. This is teachable. It’s duplicable. Most successful founders are really good at it.
The second skill is the one nobody teaches. The art of fulfillment. How to be joyful for no reason. How to feel worthy without needing another achievement to prove it. How to actually enjoy the life you built instead of just performing it.
Most people never touch the second one.
That’s the gap.
If any of this hits, the full conversation is worth 45 minutes of your time. We cover:
The two skills every entrepreneur needs
Why energy management is the real leverage move
How to get more done from calm instead of urgency
The billion-dollar body you’ve never been taught to use
Why coding your internal operating system matters more than any AI agent

One question to sit with this week:
If achievement alone won’t fulfill you, what will?
