One of my favorite ways to create a better quality life is through reading books. Iām currently reading āBe Water, My friendā by his daughter, Shannon Lee. For those of you who know me, I love reading books. One of my favorite types of books to read are biographies because I get to hang out with some of the most amazing humans ever and I don't even have to know them and some of them aren't even alive.
Bruce Lee is somebody I've been hanging out with lately, and I'm going to share with you his seven affirmations. Affirmations are positive sayings you repeat every day that you want to ingrain in yourself. I say affirmations every single day on my morning walk, throughout the day, and also at night before I go to bed.
In this podcast episode are seven that Bruce Lee used every day to strengthen his mental and emotional state that he wanted to cultivate for himself as he moved through his day. What he would do is he would carry them around with him in his journal or laminated notecards and he pulled them out from time to time so he could refer to them throughout the day.
